A unique soundscape of folk and electronic music

Folkatron Sessions are a collective of folk, jazz and electronic musicians from the UK and France who have bonded over a love of genre-bending folk music.

Their unique soundscape refracts traditional folk through the lens of experimental and ambient electronica. The result is an intricate, atmospheric blend of electronics, strings, guitar and vocals.

The great thing about trad folk is you’ll feel you know the tunes, but the instrumentation and atmosphere will most likely be new to you, much as the likes of Lau and Jarlath Henderson create.
