The Burning Glass
Sat 16 Sept, 7:45pm
The Leconfield Hall, £15
Fresh from bringing the house down at this year’s Glastonbury, we’re proud to bring you the brilliant The Burning Glass; a six piece upbeat acoustic band who play powerful storytelling pop.
Edwin Brooks writes songs that tell stories and make people laugh dance and sometimes cry. The band brings together musicians from classical, jazz and folk backgrounds using tuned percussion, ukulele, bass, electric guitar, drums and lots of singing to bring these songs to life
Over the last decade, the band have built a cult following on the UK festival circuit, and an international presence as far afield as the US, Canada, Japan and South Africa.
Story telling, star gazing joyful pop
